Alderamin On The Sky Season 2 is set to release on October 25th, 2019. The new season will follow the story of the Alderaminians as they try to find a way to save their planet from an impending doom.
The serialization began in 2012. A year later, it received a manga adaptation from Taiki Kawakami ( That Time I Was Reincarnated as slime) released in Dengeki Daioh.
A telefilm adaptation was revealed in 2015 and featured Tetsuo Ichimura as the director, and Kunio Katsuki as the design of the characters. Madhouse created Alderamin for The Sky Season one. It is which is listed as having 13 seasons.

Are there plans to include Alderamin on the Sky Season 2?
We’re warning you not to have high expectations of Alderamin on Sky Season 2. The reason behind this is due to the success that the original season had. Based on the data we’ve gathered, it failed and did not sell a lot of copies in Japan. As you may already know the studio’s policy is to preferred its Japanese viewers over the international audience. Thus, even if the show does gain viewers outside of Japan but it won’t necessarily mean anything to the studio.
There’s also concern regarding the source material which was canceled in the year 2018. Bokuto Uno published 14 volumes of the series from 2012 until the year 2018. Although there is plenty of material to fill the second season, it may end up leaving us with a new cliffhanger that will have huge plot twists in the volumes Six and Seven. We’ll never reveal the spoilers here however, you can look up for it if you’re looking for one. All we can reveal is the possibility of twists that could end up destroying the show again.
Because of these reasons it’s going to be difficult for Madhouse to take it on again. The danger is so great that we’ll have to wait and see if that another studio is able to bring us Alderamin for Sky Season 2. Sky Season 2.

Like you predicted there’s no officially announced release date set for Alderamin on the Sky Season 2. The low sales, the ending in the book’s light novels and the possibility of a twist which could sabotage the entire series are reasons for why it won’t be released for some time. Additionally, Madhouse seems not mad enough to risk it.

The Plot Alderamin on the Sky
The story is about Ikta Solork, who is a fun-loving young man with an innate intelligence. He is a man who lives to obtain what he desires as a woman, a job and a bed. Unfortunately for Ikta his life is devastated by the prospect of conflict in Kioka, the Katjvarna empire and Kioka, the Republic of Kioka.
Alongside his childhood friend Yatorishino Igsem, Ikta joins the military as a officer. This is only one of three things he dislikes. Two of them are becoming a hero as well as an honorable.
On a vessel heading to the military exam center, Ikta and Yatorishino meet with other applicants They include Matthew Tetojirichi, Torway Remion along with Haroma Becker.
