Aoharu x Machinegun Season 2 is set to release on October 25th in Japan. The anime will have 10 episodes and will be directed by Kouhei Kitamura with animation by Atsushi Nishimura. The first episode of the season has been released online and can be watched below. The second season of Aoharu x Machinegun is set to follow the story of Aoharu, a high school student who falls in love with a machine gun. Along the way, she must protect her friends from an evil organization that wants to weaponize the machine guns.
Aoharu x Machinegun (also known as Aoharu x Kikanjuu) was originally a manga series that NAOE had created and illustrated. From January 2013 to August 2019, it was serialized in Gangan Comics’ Shounen manga magazine. There were 18 volumes. The manga-inspired anime adaptation of the manga was produced in 2015 by Brian’s Base. It had 12 episodes and an OVA by Hideaki Nakano. Sentai Filmworks and Madman Entertainment distributed the episodes to an international audience via AnimeLab, AnimeLab, and Madman Entertainment.

This anime action-comedy ended with a huge cliffhanger in its first season. Fans have been eager to see what happens next since the last episode aired in September 2015. With each passing day, there is a growing demand for a second season. Brian’s Base has yet to renew the eagerly awaited sequel. But, it doesn’t mean that the sequel will be cancelled.
Fans can become very upset when they wait for the sequel’s approval from its producers. Even if they renew it immediately, it might take several years for the sequel to reach the screens. The 2023 release date seems most likely at this point. Another option is to make an additional OVA.
