What a success she was after entering the manga! She was ranked 4th in popularity doll! Do you now get why I called her a Tornado. Do not be seduced by her cuteness! This will be obvious to you too!
Alas! There’s a problem. There is a problem when Reze appears in a series that has many characters who die.
Reze Chainsaw Man Appearance
Reze has two looks. Her first appearance is her human form. She was a slender teenage girl. She has long, black hair that ends at her shoulder, green eyes and a face that blushes easily. A choker with a pin is also worn by her, which she can transform into anything she wants.
Denji first saw her in a loose-fitting shirt with a bell drawn on the front and a backpack.
Her transformation is exactly the opposite of her beautiful human body. Her hybrid transformation is that of a devil, with a black airship-shaped skull and multiple fins at the ends. Her teeth are sharp and clearly visible, keeping with her dark look. Her arms are covered in bomb fuses, and her apron is full of these and explosives. This is a wonderful representation of her explosive, devilish nature.
Reze Chainsaw Man Personality
Reze, at first glance, is a young girl who works as a waitress in a cafe. Denji met Reze while he was hiding from the rain in a telephone booth. Denji sees her as a happy woman, which he believes is flirting. After a series events, it became clear that her confessions and initial personality were faked to trick Denji into thinking she was cheating him.
Strengths and Skills Of Reze Chainsaw Man
Bomb
Reze lives up the title of “Bomb Devil.” She is focused on bombs that have different uses and power.
The bomb’s blast can be used to propel herself up, destroying the pavement with her landing . The bomb can be used continuously to propel her, allowing her to run in the air (ch47).
She can deliver explosive punches [ch45] which can fold a truck in a single hit [ch48] or can release an explosive beam with just one touch [ch45].
She blasted Denji through the building twice in his chainsaw man shape, and then reduced him to a husk by her touch [ch48]. Also, she shot Beam in full shark transformation [ch50].
Even more bizarre is the fact that she can flick a small flare powerful sufficient to kill three devil hunters using its explosion (ch45). This amount of power allowed her to blow Denji’s arms off while fighting [ch51].
Denji was also destroyed in half by her leg and arm, which she turned into bombs. Multiple cars flew in the process [ch48]. This is to demonstrate her extreme regenerative capabilities, which will be addressed in the latter section.
After being brainwashed by Makima she effortlessly rushes Pochita though a building that has multiple explosions. She launches both Pochita and her incendiary high up in the sky [ch88]
Hand-to-hand combatSpeed & Efficiency
With her devil body, or even the headless one [ch46], Reze is able to easily avoid the Fox devil.
She kept up with Akihayakawaas she evaded her attacks using help from Future devil [ch48].
Refer to Aki’s reaction and she was able block an attack by Quanxi the devil hunter . He was able [ch60] without getting any reaction . Their bodies fell apart when she stopped to replace their sword.
Denji could not hit Reze once, but he did so after following Beam’s [ch49].
Denji can also be compared to the Katana [ch37]. A devil that moves faster than his power can see [ch24].
Also, her extreme mobility can be seen when she moved well while being placed beside a Sharknado that is strong enough to pull cars and people to itself [ Ch 50]
You can see her durability by her ability to tank all her explosions [ch44] .
She was also eaten by the Fox devil but was able to escape unscathed [ch46]
Reze was also able to block an aggressive kick from the Violence fiend. She shattered the ground on which she stood [ch47].
Regeneration
Because her power is centered around explosives, it’s not surprising that she has exceptional regenerative abilities
Reze can almost immediately regenerate her upper arm and head [ch44] and her entire lower body [ch46] by transformation. She was able regenerate her right leg by drinking the blood from the Typhoon-devil. Chapter 48 showed that she was able to regenerate her right leg by drinking the blood of the b>Typhoon devil/b>.
Finally, she was able be brought back from the bleeding out [ch52] and even after being brutally dissected in Pochita (ch88].
Reze is one the “weapon-devils,”who unlike other devils weren’t extinct after being consumed by the Chainsaw Man. [ch87]
She is also immortal, like Denji or Quanzi, and not “half-immortal”, like the other devils as described by Kishibe. [ch30]
The Bomb devil will reincarnate in hell if she dies. If she is killed again, she will reincarnate here on Earth. It’s basically a never-ending cycle of death and resurrection. [ch53]
She can create devil contracts and be bound by them. Both parties must keep their promises. They would all die. [ch17]

Past/History
Reze was one of the children taken by the USSR. He was placed under a s special government program. This program is dedicated to making super-soldiers who are committed to the country and their mission.
She was also subject to severe and rigorous military training, and even scientific experiments to increase her natural abilities. The Bomb devil was placed in Reze’s body at some point, making her a hybrid devil-human.
Affiliations
Gun Devil
She was once the bearer of the Gun devil. It was embedded in her body by the USSR. This made her a thirsty devil.
USSR
The USSR is also known by the Soviet Union. reze was once part of their special and was also used in special experiments. She was ordered to do what she did by the USSR.
Makima
Makima is associated with Reze since she was one the brainwashed hybrids that were used as weapons to fight the Chainsaw Man.
Relationships
Gun Devil
Although they technically are one, Reze could still live in the USSR as a single person without the Gun Devil within her.
Denji
Reze met Denji, and . did not know that he was her primary target. After her identity was revealed, they had friendly interactions. However, this was replaced by violence.
Typhoon Devil
As the Typhoon devil greets them as “Ms. Reze is treated with respect. During the Bomb Girl Arc, this devil saved Reze many times.
Makima
They aren’t good friends, as they only knew each other after Makima killed them. However, she is summoned later as one of the hybrids in the Control Devil Arc.
Reze Chainsaw Man Story
Bomb Girl Arc
Chapter 40 is her first appearance in the manga. Reze appeared as Denji was sheltering from the rain in a telephone booth. After several interactions, Reze told Denji that she worked part-time in a cafe called Crossroads.
Denji had arrived at the cafe and Reze was shocked by his appearance. He orders Denji a cup of coffee and she sits beside him. Denji is confused by their interactions and closeness. He even thinks she has feelings for her. [ch40]
Denji continues returning to the cafe each day for a whole week, often ordering lunch there. Denji often sees her learning . He insists on sitting next to her, even though he doesn’t want to distract her.
Denji said that he wishes he had gone to school. She then invites him to go to a nearby school at night to explore it. [ch41]
The two go to the pool together after school. Reze takes off her clothes and invites Denji to go for a swim. Denji is unable to swim so Reze invites him to go for a swim.
Denji, referring to Aesop’s fables asks Reze if he prefers being a town mouse to a city mouse. Denji says that the former is more fun and offers more food. Reze says that being a country mouse gives you more freedom.
Denji also agrees that food is what he really cares about. Denji is then invited to attend a local festival [ch42]
Then she says that she will go to the restroom, leaving Denji alone in the classroom. She hears footsteps behind her and thinks it is Denji. However, she looks behind to find a man . She is then chased by the man to the rooftop, where he is killed by Reze [ch43] .
It is at this point that Reze is declared an antagonist. She also talks to the Typhoon Devil and asks him to dispose off the body of her victim. [ch43]
After that, she returns to school and they go to the local festival. They are now at the top of the cliffside and have a great view of the fireworks. Reze then asks Denji if they could run away together, promising that she would protect him and make his life easier. She admits her feelings for him. [ch43]
Denji, however, rejects her and tells her that he also likes her but he enjoys his job and Makima. This is when things spiral out of control. [ch44]
Reze bit Denji’s tongue, and then she pulled out a knife to quickly cut his throat before he could pull his chainsaw cord. Denji was in shock and pain. Reze then apologizes for her actions and promises to take his heart. [ch44]
Beam suddenly appears and takes Denji with him. Reze puts the pin on her choker, causing her head to explode. Her now damaged body is transformed into a hybrid human-devil. [ch44]
Beam is quickly caught up by Reze and prevents him taking Denji away. He responds by turning his head in a huge shark’s head. She then offers to let him go if he does not leave them alone. [ch45]
A group of private-devil hunters then sees Denji and her. The group decides to not be hostile because she appears intelligent and human-like. This eventually leads to their death. [ch45]
Then, she attempts to get to the headquarters for the Second division. She pretends to be being chased down by a devil. Her plan is foiled and she declares that it’s time to kill the Second Division.
Nomo commands Kato and Tanabe HTML to kill Reze by any means. They resort to making molds inside her body. However, she pulls her pin again, causing her explosion. They believed it was suicide, but then Reze ‘s headless body suddenly hugged Nomo and exploded for the second time. She then murders everyone at the headquarters. [ch46]
Aki is driving and sees an accident. He decides to stop his car. Reze, in front of him shows the decapitated head and Vice-captain of Nomo.
Reze commands Aki to leave Denji and go away to stop as much bloodshed as possible. Aki ignores Reze and drives away. Then, she suddenly falls on the car and, just as she was about to blow it up, the Violence fiend appears and kicks Aki off. [ch47]
Every attack he attempts is blocked by Reze, which causes the Violence fiend Kobeni to call out to him and order her to flee. Reze looks around to find Kobeni laying on the ground, begging for mercy. She decides to leave Reze alone and go to Denji. [ch47]
She eventually catches up with the car and lands on top. Denji then wakes up and transforms himself into Chainsaw Man. [ch47]
Denji and Reze keep talking about love and betrayal . This eventually leads to them fighting each other. Reze continues to use her explosivesending Denji through multiple walls and exploding. Denji was destroyed in a fierce and explosive fight, and she was left a limbless corpse. [ch48]
While Reze is trying to escape, Aki disguises himself as a corpse and pulls her leg . They exchanged blows, Aki barely managing to avoid the explosions with his future vision.
She was trying to launch a missile from her arm, but the Violence fiend interrupted her. [ch49]
Reze is unable to speak due to the blood loss. The Typhoon devil immediately appears and saves Reze. Beam and the recovered Denji follow her as Chainsaw Man on a shark.
Denji and Beam are horrified when she releases multiple explosions all around her. Denji and Beam finally catch up to her. She releases b>multiple explosions/b> around her. However, the Typhoon devil spits blood into her mouth in an attempt to help her devil nature. [ch50]
Beam and Denji were able to kill Typhoon devil by cutting into him, but Reze decides to go higher and make everything explode, intending to take the two of them down. Beam saves Denji, swallowing him . [ch50]
Now it’s time for Reze and Denji to put on a final showdown.
Reze throws explosives at Denji, causing him to lose his right arm. Denji is about to fall in the sea and asks Reze why he didn’t kill himself the first meeting. She replies that there wasn’t any place for him to run. [ch51]
Reze decides to then blow up his left hand but it leaves a link that wraps around her. Denji drags her along with him into the water and they sink to their knees, reminiscing about the time they were together swimming. [ch51]
She woke up, feeling revived, and asked Denji why he helped her. After a while, he explained that he doesn’t care about his body due to his immortality and that he’s content as long as he has good foods to eat. He also said that he would not mind being killed because she was hot.
Denji asks Denji if she would like to go with him. But Reze responds by standing up and breaking her neck. [ch51]
Reze later on dresses up as a civil and goes to the train station. She considers getting on the train. She stopped when she saw the flower at a charity stand. She remembers the Denji flower and walks back to the cafe, but not before she leaves the other alleyway. Makima was then revealed to her by the rats she was surrounded by. [ch52]
She attempts to pull her pin, but Makima cuts off her arm quickly and easily. She tries to stab Makima using a knife but a spear from the above strikes her.
In her final moments, Reze is consoled by Makima as she remembers the real reasons why she didn’t murder Denji when they first met. It was because she sympathized with Denji in her final moments.
Control Devil Arc
During the Control Devil Arc as summoned Makima Reze appears as one the weapons against the Chainsaw Man [ch86]
After Makima ordered her and the other summons attack, Reze transformed into his hybrid form and charged into Denji. They were all destroyed by Denji’s force [ch87]. Reze and the other devils transformed into theirb> hybrid forms and charged towards Reze. [ch88]
Denji is also present in the battle. She shouts battle cry at Denji and then decides to cut each one, making them all fall to the ground. [ch88]
Analysis Of Reze Chainsaw Man Character
How powerful is Reze ?
Reze, unlike a Fiend that is quite weak and less intelligent than a Hybrid, is not. This means that Reze is in the same category as Denji. The main difference between a Hybrid or a Fiend lies in the host’s physical body.
Both are Devils, but hybrids aren’t dead. They can change between being a Human or a Devil. However, Fiends are unable to do this. Fiends can be formed when a devil takes control of a human corpse. This is all I have to say.Bomb Devil(Reze)
Let’s get back to the point. Reze, unlike other Devil Hunters, doesn’t need to call the Devil with whom she has a contract. She just transforms into the Devil. Similar to Denji. A Hybrid is similar to Denji.
Reze is also highly skilled in physical combat. This skill comes in handy when she encounters several Devil Hunters. Denji, who lacks the necessary skills, wins because of his sheer power as the Chainsaw Devil.
Strength Reze Chainsaw Man
Because it would be too difficult to list all of Reze’s strengths, I will just mention them.
Extreme damage rateShe can turn any part of her body into a bomb, which allows her to inflict heavy damage on her enemies. Quick. It could be related to her skill, however Bomb Devil Rezes are exceptionally fast. Hard armor. Reze, being the Bomb Devil, has proven to be a formidable defense against physical attacks. Reze was able to take a hit from Violence Fiend, who is considered to be a strong individual. Even though her head is not attached to her body, she can still operate.
These are just a few of the strengths that I have observed. She might have other secrets that she didn’t reveal. I wonder if the Bomb Devil will make an appearance in Part 2 of the manga.Reze Tears Off Denji’s Tongue
Weakness
It is impossible to be strong enough not to have weakness. This is the undisputed truth.
Water. Water is her greatest weakness as the Bomb Devil. Denji defeated her in this manner. He tied her up with his chainsaw, and then dropped her in the sea.
She is water-resistant, so I haven’t seen any other weaknesses in her. She is just one step away from being the perfect Devil Hybrid. Perhaps another weakness is the more powerful Devil.
Can she defeat Makima?
Makima is the only character that has an impregnable defense. Makima has had to endure everything from being shot to the point of death to having her body cut into pieces. Yet, she is safe and sound, even though her bones are broken.
But even Makima, a powerful character, must have weaknesses. Can Reze defeat Makima, despite being quite powerful? Can Chainsaw Devil Reze defeat Makima?
No, Reze cannot defeat Makima. There is no Human that can defeat Makima.After completing the series, I have found that only three Devils are strong enough to defeat Makima. There’s the Darkness Devil, Gun Devil, and then there’s also the Chainsaw Devil.
It would have been so simple to defeat Makima. She would have been dead more often than 20 times by the time the manga ended. Although it’s nearly impossible to kill Makima, there is always a way.

Is Reze really dead?
If power were measured by just skills, Reze would be the most skilled character in Chainsaw Man. If my memory is correct, Reze would be outclassed by Quanxi and Kishibe in terms of only skills.
However, even the most skilled character can end abruptly. This is what Reze shows!Does Reze Die?
Reze is killed after she meets Makima, Angel Devil, and Makima. Her death was certain until she fled the country.
Denji finally brought her down after she unleashed chaos. He didn’t kill her, and that is quite understandable. He promised to meet her at the same coffee shop she used to work.
As she was driving to meet him, Makima appeared along with the Angel Devil. That was it. Makima landed the first hit, but the Angel Devil launched the most destructive.
Although she appears at the end, it is clear that she is not the Reze who met Denji. She was a Makima puppet, who was solely focused on killing Denji.
Reze’s Major Role in The Manga!
She was introduced in Chapter 40. If you count the number of chapters in this series, you will see that she was introduced at the half-way point. Denji was an official Devil-Hunter by the time she joined the series.
Even though she was late to the party, Reze still played a crucial and powerful role in the success of the story. She quickly made friends with Denji, despite being a new person. It’s safe to say that things escalated between them too quickly. Denji began to think of her as a potential romantic interest soon after they became friends.Darkness Devil
The truth was soon revealed and we now know how much she caused mayhem, killing many Devil Hunters. But that’s not all. It is important to find out what happened next!
Denji needed to unleash the Chainsaw Devil in order to defeat her. Denji, who was the Chainsaw Devil, revealed her identity to the world.
She did that and started a race. It was a race to capture Denji, the Chainsaw Devil.
What happened next? Chainsaw man entered the Final Arc. It’s now clear why she was introduced so late. She fits perfectly between “one the most important characters” and “one the most powerful villains.”
