Enji Todoroki MHA is a professional soldier and the current captain of the Japan National Guard. He is also the son of the late Mayor Todoroki MHA. Todoroki was born in Tokyo on December 12th, 1984, to Enji Todoroki and his wife Yoko. He has two siblings: his sister Yui and brother Ken. Todoroki attended Tokyo Gakuin University, where he studied law. After graduating from university, he worked as an attorney for a few years before deciding to enter the military. He enlisted in the Japan National Guard in 2006 and has served ever since. Todoroki is highly decorated for his service in the military and has been awarded several medals and awards including the prestigious Order of Japan (OJ). He has also been given numerous commendations from other countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom. Todoroki’s father was mayor of Tokyo from 1988-1994 and he played a significant role in helping to create Tokyo’s modern infrastructure. Todoroki is highly respected by both his father and fellow city officials alike for his dedication to public service and his commitment to creating a better city for all residents.

Shoto Todoroki has said that his father was an ambitious and proud man driven by his dream of achieving the rank 1 superhero, All Might.
The obsession with his goal has been the case with Enji throughout his entire life, having repeatedly failed to achieve it from his early years. Endeavor is extremely committed to his studies and heroics in his quest to be the best pro-athlete in the nation however, All Might turned out to be a formidable opponent that he was unable to compete with.
