Fans of the popular manga and anime series, Food Wars! will be eagerly awaiting the release of Food Wars! Season 6. The latest season is set to air in Japan on October 12th, but there is no word yet on when it will be released in other countries. The first five seasons of Food Wars! aired between 2013 and 2016, with a total of 26 episodes each. The sixth and final season is set to have 24 episodes, so it’s possible that it won’t be released in all countries at the same time. However, Crunchyroll has announced that they will be simulcasting the entire series starting from October 12th. So far, there are only a few details about Season 6 that have been revealed. It seems as though the main characters will be facing new challenges and enemies. Are There Food Wars? Shokugeki no Soma Season 6
We love Food Wars but it is unlikely that the anime series will return for season 6.
The renewal announcement for Food Wars season 5, which was announced shortly after season 4 had ended, came soon. Season 5 will be the last season of the series.
Season 5 (Shokugeki No Soma: Fifth Plate) was concluded on September 25, 2020. It left fans feeling very emotional.
Fans shouldn’t give up on the possibility of anime returning in the form OVAs, prequel series or movies.
Five OVA episodes have been released, including 2 episodes in 2016, 2 episodes 2017 and one final episode in 2018.
At the time of writing, there is no information on future OVA’s and film plans for the hit series. But who knows?

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma was inspired by a manga series written and illustrated by Yuto Takuda.
The series follows Soma Yukihira (a hopeful teenager who dreams of becoming a chef at his father’s family restaurant). Soma hopes to be able to cook better than his father.
He enrolls at Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute. This elite culinary school allows students to compete in cooking contests.
We have watched Soma develop his culinary skills throughout the series.

There were mixed feelings among fans about the finale. Some fans are disappointed that the popular series will end.
