Synopsis
Superpower Liberation Army
Just prior to Re-Destro declares war against The League of Villains, Geten attends a meeting along with the league’s top brass. 3] They manage to take Giran in order to make him a bait to bring to lead the League of Villains to Deika City.
Geten is charged with dealing with the League’s most strong opponent, Dabi. He hides his presence and attempts to take out Dabi by using an enormous pair of Ice gauntlets. The blue flame-wielder manages to avoid the attack, but is not impressed by the ice of his adversary. The hooded warrior inquires Dabi why he didn’t release his flames at beginning of the conflict which suggests there is something not right with his superpower.
Dabi immediately responds with a fire attack that melts the Geten’s ice. The Ice warrior flies to the sky and collects all the ice present in the vicinity to create the largest suspended mass of ice. He informs Dabi that he’s spent years working on his Gift and that the flames from this one aren’t enough to cause them to melt. The elements meet, cutting the battleground.
The flames of Dabi’s are very hot and melt the huge volume of the ice. Then, Geten uses what is left over to freeze the water surrounding him to build additional weapons. A plethora of Twice’s replicas overflow the area, and the ice fighter is able to counter with a massive Ice wave that breaks out from the underground water lines ruining a lot of city blocks and completely destroying the entire army Twice was able to create.
Geten asserts that in a future of liberation the social status can be judged by the power of a person’s Gift. Dabi is not happy with the claim and tells his adversary to die immediately. The ice fighter says that it is Dabi who dies this day because Dabi has found his weaknesses: Dabi’s flames are ablaze if he is using them for long periods of time.
Geten and Dabi’s fight continues with both exhausted in the battle. A massive monster is spotted in the town of Deika in an apparent attempt to aid members of the league of Villains. Skeptic warns Re Destro of its appearance however this doesn’t end the boy’s agitation. Concerned about the ultimate leader, Geten abandons his fight with Dabi and tries to frighten the beast with ice only to be taken away from the monster. 2.
