The anime is currently being made. In July 2017, Liden Films made Koi To Uso an anime series. Seiki Takuno directed it. The series ended in September 2017 with 12 episodes. Plotline for Koi to Uso Season 1

Misaki Takasaki, his long-term crush and schoolmate, finally allows him to confess his love and finds that she likes him back. He is then assigned Ririna Sanada, a girl he will be 16 years old. Ririna doesn’t like being assigned but is willing to allow Yukari to freely relate with Misaki in order for her to learn about love. The story follows the teenage adventures as they attempt to connect with one another, while still keeping an eye on the government.

Koi to Uso Season 2 – Renewal Status
Liden Films was the studio behind Koi to Uso. We are hopeful that there will be Koi to Uso Season 2 due to the great response and ratings. Many fans were critical of the cliffhanger ending of season 1. The story is able to bring true teenage romance into anime, despite all that. Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm if there will be a sequel for Koi To Uso.
Koi to Uso is a fast-paced series that’s comparable to the manga. The manga has 10 volumes and the anime only 5 volumes. Koi to Uso has only 12 episodes and an OVA so the storyline actually skips some semi-important acne. Liden Films will decide if they will make the next series or if it will be cancelled.
