The release date for Monster Girl Doctor Season 2 has been revealed. The new season will air on October 12th, 2019.
This anime is actually an adaptation Yoshiro Origuchi’s light novel series with the same name from 2016. With 9 volumes of the story, the story continues to this day. Tetsumaki Tomasu illustrated it in manga in February 2018. In July 2020, the story was made into an anime adaptation. The first season of Arvo animation was produced by Yoshiaki Iwasaki. It lasted 12 episodes and ended in September 2020. We are now speculating on the next season.
Plotline for Monster Girl Doctor Season 1
This anime did not have a plotline, as it skipped much of the content and worldbuilding details while making it into twelve episodes. It still follows the same plot as the light novel. Fans still believe the anime adaptation is better than the manga’s because of the solid progression and development in the romantic relationship.
The story takes place after a long conflict between monsters and humans. It focuses on Dr. Glenn Litbeit, a human, and his Lamia assistant Saphentite Neeikes. They run a clinic located in Lindworm, where many monster species live alongside humans. From there, the story continues and takes us to the monster world.

Monster Girl Doctor Season 2 : Original Material
This anime adapted three volumes of the light novel for its first season, with four episodes each capturing one volume. Surprisingly, the shortlist of episodes gave them a positive impression on the plotline, pacing, and overall quality. The next volume of this story will not be published with the current light novel, which has nine volumes. We know that the Arvo ANimation still contains plenty of content for the second and third seasons of Monster Girl Doctor.
Yoshiro Origuchi, the creators of the light novel, announced that the end of this series of five years would come in the 10th volume. It was quite predictable after the light novel left us in a cliffhanger at the ninth volume. Fans are eager for all volumes to be available this year, so the studio can focus on adapting them into anime series.
