The Mother of the Goddess Dormitory is set to release its second season on October 15th, 2017. The new season will follow the story of the goddess Athena and her students as they continue their journey to learn more about themselves and their goddess.
Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory is an adaptation of a manga of the identical title written and illustrated Ikumi Hino. The manga series was launched in late 2017, with seven volumes. Asread reported that the studio made the adaptation of this story into an anime series in August 2021. The series ended in September 2021 with 10 episodes. Fans are now wondering if there’s a sequel to this series.

The story of Koshi Nagumo, who was left homeless by his father and saw his house burn down in a fire, is told through Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory. He found Mineru while wandering through the streets and was taken in by her. She brought him to their home, where he received food. He was allowed to take a bath, but he found out that the area was occupied by women as he was about getting one.
Mineru had the need to explain to Koshi that the house was the Goddess Dormitory for students at Seikan Women’s University, and she was the interim dorm mom while they searched for one. Mineru offered Koshi a dorm mom position. He was in desperate need of work to support himself and he didn’t know what the consequences would be. He met many people from the dorm with different personalities. Koushi tries his best to live this crazy new life, despite this.

Season 2 of Mother of the Goddess’s Dormitory: Renewal Status
There is no word yet on the release date for Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory Season 2. We may get another season due to the many requests of the fans. Fans should be prepared to wait. There are two reasons why the future announcement has not been made.
It is mostly due to the availability of the source material. The nine episodes that comprise the first season cover 19 chapters of the manga. Leaving two chapters of volume 5, volume 6 and volume 7 to be adapted, there is barely enough material left for Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory Season 2. Currently, however, only seven volumes exist of the manga and it is unlikely that the series will ever be renewed.
