Shota Aizawa is a new member of the Japanese House of Representatives, and he’s already making waves. Aizawa is a self-proclaimed socialist, and his policies reflect that. He wants to increase taxes on the wealthy, raise the minimum wage, and invest in renewable energy. Aizawa’s policies may be new to Japan, but they’re not new to the world. Socialist policies like these have been gaining popularity around the globe in recent years. They’re called “social justice policies,” and they aim to improve the lives of everyone in society by addressing inequality. Aizawa isn’t alone in his beliefs. Many other members of Japan’s parliament are also socialists. This is good news for Japan – socialism has traditionally been a popular political ideology in Japan, and it could help bring about change in the country. Socialism has its critics, of course. Some people say that it would be difficult to implement these policies in practice, and that they would lead to economic disaster. Shota has a reputation as being a firm and reserved person who has high expectations for his students. He is driven by reason and doesn’t believe in keeping a neat image or filtering thoughts or thoughts for the benefit of the sake of others. He’s often indecisive, unmotivated and irritable with very little enthusiasm in the majority of circumstances taking naps within his bed.

He also made it clear that he didn’t believe Izuku Midoriya would become a hero at the time they first met. He is famous for telling his students lies to get them to do their best, which that he calls the use of “logical deception” or “rational fraud”.
Despite his insufferable traits, Shota truly cares about his students and goes to the extremes to protect their interests, like protecting Tsuyu Asui from Tomura’s Shigaraki, despite the serious injuries he sustained. Shota has also publicly stated his faith of his pupils on numerous occasions, and is certain that even Katsuki Bakugo won’t be affected by the villains. Recovery Girl even suggested that he let himself be taken captive by Momo Yaoyorozu in the End of Term Test to increase his confidence.

Shota is a slim tall, pale-skinned, tall man sporting long, messy black hair that is hung partially on his face. It is also half-open with eyes in black. Shota is typically identified by his messy appearance, and often appears as if you just stepped up from the bed. The hair on his face is unkempt and his eyes always appear tired and flat.Shota wears an odd black suit made up of a long-sleeved top and pants that are a perfect match to his boots. Additionally, he wears a utility belt and a wrap-around scarf throughout the day. He also hides a pair yellow glasses under his scarf when the need arises to wear them during battle.
After being badly injured by Nomu Shota’s face as well as both arms were completely covered with bandages. When the bandages were taken off, Shota reveals a deep cut under the right eye.The formal attire for press briefings as well as meetings with the parents of his students is an all-black suit with a blue tie, an elegant white dress shirt. Shota is also skilled managing his equipment and Gift for example, wearing goggles in conjunction with his Gift to stop enemies from understanding which Gift he is taking over and causing confusion. It also assists in forming strategies for dealing with various types of enemies, specifically those who are not immune to his Gift.
Close Combat The character is highly adept at close combat and utilizes the Capture Weapon efficiently when facing the enemy, so to the point that he’s capable of defending himself even when outnumbered , without using his Gift. He is extremely adept and quick to think of his next move, being capable of avoiding numerous attacks in a short time while being surrounded with his enemies, while throwing them off with his well-planned counterattacks.
Control Scarf and Binding (Cao soFu BakuBu Hu Sobakufu): Shota developed an original fighting style using his catch weapon to trap and/or disable his opponents, as being able to move by swiping on objects that are above the region. This style of fighting is compatible to his Erased Gift because it can eliminate his adversaries by reducing their gifts and destroying them using the combat style.
Enhanced Stamina: Shota demonstrated enhanced stamina. In the course of the assault on U.S.J Shota was able resist Tomura with his Gift and disintegrate his right arm, and confront several villains without any pain or discomfort. As Nomu started to beat Nomu, leaving him with a severe injury, he remained alert for a while and was able to make use of his Gift to prevent Tomura from murdering Tsuyu Asui.
