Her body, as a result of her Quirk is unnoticeable and this is why we aren’t sure what she’s like on the outside. In class at Yuei the school, she wears the uniform of her school and, as per the size it seems to be an thin girl.Her Hero costume is made up of one pair of shoes and gloves, which she takes off when she is not wanting to be observed.

Character Toru Hagakure
Toru is a happy young, energetic and friendly girl who tries to see the good in every aspect of her life. She is a social butterfly and appears to really like shopping. Though she seems in good standing with the other students in class but the only one she talks to often has been Mashirao Ojiro.The decor of her room hints at the love Toru is a fan of puppets and other cute things. Toru is at times isn’t sure what is meant by being invisibly invisible, and is embarrassed whenever she needs to strip off her clothes to use a tactic during battle.
However, she realizes that, in the case of her Quirk and her Quirk, removing her clothes is a good tactic to use during combat because it lets her remain invisible and be able to move closer to her adversaries, and snatch them unaware prior to it being too late.

Toru’s Quirk lets her transform her body into a completely invisibly. The Quirk appears to be based on manipulation of light phenomena however there isn’t enough evidence to know whether Toru can turn other objects invisibly, aside from her body. Toru and Mashirao were paired in Mashirao and Toru teamed up during the Battle Drill and hit it off instantly. Mashirao has been the one one we hear talking to Toru often.

The original costume of Toru was thought to come with a lot of additional accessories, like mirrors and a smiley face that were attached to the gloves. Yuei’s information regarding Toru is as the following:Student #16 in class 1A. The 18th place finisher at the Quirk Test. The 16th place finisher in the class 1-A grades. It was among the top 42 of the Yuei’s First Year Sports Festival. At first Toru was originally planned to be a male, however, in the end Kohei Horikoshi chose to make her a girl as Kohei Horikoshi believed that a quirk that can make one invisible would be more entertaining in the hands of an female. In the initial poll she was ranked 20th place, tied with Mei Hatsume. “Hagakure” (Xie Yin ?) signifies “hidden among the leaves”. “Tooru” (Tou ?) means “transparent”. She is fond of caramel, as well as caramel and the Dokkiri Show (a prank where you take photos of surprise). The voice actress who plays her, Kaori Nazuka she is the voice actor for the character Mount Lady. Her name, Hero, Invisible Girl, is a reference to her name, Fantastic Four member Sue Storm who is also who was also known by the name of Invisible Woman. Toru’s Quirk is built on light, much as the first Quirk which appeared from the realm that was My Hero Academia. Many fans believe that she’s the phantom spy that infiltrated Yuei. (This is a speculation of fans and not a 100% certainty).
