Days Anime is a Japanese animation that focuses on sports. Tsuyoshi Yasuda wrote the manga. It was published in 42 volumes. They were written between April 2013 and January 2021. MAPPA Studio, which won several manga awards, decided to adapt the story into anime in 2015. This was done with 24 episodes and 5 OVA episodes. How about Days Anime Season 2!
Days Anime Season 1 Recap Story
Day follows Tsukushi Tsukamoto’s struggles as a shy, clumsy and bullied teenager who is about to start highschool. Tsukushi decides to enroll at Seiseki High School in order to be with Sayuri Tachibana (his childhood friend) one year older. Tsukushi is bullied at Sayuri’s work and is then saved by Jin Kazama.
He attacks the bullies with nunchucks and declares that he is a homeless man who has lost his way in town. Jin asks Tsukushi about football and invites him to join him for a futsal match, as his team is short of players.
Jin is surprised when Tsukushi shows up after running almost ten kilometers in heavy rain, without one shoe, and after another fight with his bullies. Tsukushi is short, young and clumsy.
He plays poorly but continues running through the match, despite injuring his foot. This motivates his teammates. Tsukushi scores the decisive goal by smashing his head into the pole after a final sprint.
Later, he discovers that Jin is also a freshman at Seiseki and decides to join the football team to play with him. Unaware that the football club in Seiseki has become renowned and is well-loved by students from all over Japan, he does not know that it is a national football club. Despite being extremely frail, weak and clumsy, he manages to make the team. He also shows remarkable ability to motivate the other members of the team to work hard.

Days Anime Season 2 – Renewal Status
Fans have been waiting for Days Anime Season 2 since 2016, five years after the premiere of the first season. After 29 episodes, the story of season 1 wasn’t complete.
This is a lot of sense compared to the 42 volumes in the Days Manga Series. The creators assured that they would complete the plot. Crunchyroll actually confirmed in a tweet that Days will be returning for a second series.
Crunchyroll later admitted that they had misreported the episode and that there would not be another season. Later, the company corrected itself and said that the sequel would be presented in three original anime DVDs.
A teaser promo video and visual were also released by the company for the final Days Anime project. Studio MAPPA later launched the three episodes on July 17, 2018, May 17, and March 16, 2018. They concluded the anime’s story and resolved any remaining plotlines.

Days Anime Season 2 Release Date
The popular anime series has been cancelled. There may not be a Days Anime Season 2. Fans still want more Days Anime content after the cancellation. The possibility of Days Anime Season 2 is almost impossible, as the complete series has been completed from both manga and anime. If there is high demand, the publisher could make reboot series, anime movies or another OVA.
