Dragonar Academy Season 2 is set to air on Netflix in 2019. The release date for the new season has not been announced, but it is likely that it will be released in early 2020.
Dragonar Academy, also known in Japanese as Seikoku no Dragonar, is actually a light novel series that Shuku Muzuchi wrote back in 2010. This light novel was published in 20 volumes over five years until November 2015. The story was adapted into a manga version in 2011 and ran for five more years, ending December 2016. It was illustrated by Ran. C-Station studio transformed it into an anime adaptation by Ryoji Maru. Fans are eagerly awaiting the sequel.
Dragonar Academy Season 1 : Plotline
Breeders are civilians who raise and train dragons on the continent Arc Strada. They bond with them through a magical link called Astral Flow.
Breeders are marked with a Seikoku when they are young by the Mother Dragon of the Orphan Rite, and are eligible to be born to different races of dragons. If they help their Pal become a Maestro, or Holy Dragon, breeders might eventually attain the rank of nobility.
Most students at Ansarivan Dragonar Academy learn to ride and tame Dragons easily. Ash Blake, a first year student, is the trouble child. His Pal, despite Ash’s unusually large seikoku, has never been seen.
Ash challenges Princess Silvia Lautreamont to a race of dragons. But Ash’s dragon is a different form than any other dragon seen before. She is a beautiful girl. Ash names her Eco, and soon realizes that the new dragon has a great attitude. She immediately informs Ash that she is her master and that he is her servant. Ash’s difficulties with dragon riding are only beginning.

Dragonar Academy Season 2 : Renewal Status
There are usually many options to check when there is a long time between the first and second episodes. C-Station’s anime is below average in terms demand, viewers, and sales. This anime made a very low profit when compared to other anime.
Seikoku no Dragonar also ended its manga and light novel series years ago. The original story is complete. However, the anime adaptation can’t be used anymore because they aren’t able to promote the manga and light novel. The Dragonar Academy manga adaptation was also not able to survive beyond 15 volumes in 2016.

Dragonar Academy Season 2 : Source Material
This story has much more to tell from the perspective of the source material. C-Station Studio can actually make four more seasons, as the first season of Dragonar Academy covers only the first 4 volumes.
The source material isn’t the only thing that allows the anime to make its return to our screens. They are probably not expecting to make much money from the next Dragonar Academy season.

Dragonar Academy Season 2 : Date Released
Dragonar Academy is actually a good anime that mixes fantasy, romance, and harem. We don’t know if Dragonar Academy Season 2 will be re-aired. There is still the possibility of anything, as the studio has not cancelled or renewed it. Fans can still wait, but there isn’t much chance of it happening.
