Seiken Tsukai no World Break (also known as World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman) was originally a light novel series that ran from November 2012 to June 2018. The series was written by Akamitsu Awamura, and illustrated by Refeia. It ran for twenty-two volumes.

World Break Season 1 : Recap Story
World Break: Aria for a Holy Swordsman is held at Akane Academy. Here, students with special powers, also known as Saviors, are trained to defend against Metaphysicals, who brutally attack humankind.
The Saviors are divided into Shirogane, White Iron or Kuroma, and Black Magic or Black Magic. They are reincarnations talented people who have awoken memories from their past lives. Shirogane can manifest weapons and techniques, while Kuroma can manifest magic to defend.
Moroha Haimura is the protagonist. He has memories from two past lives. Flaga was a swordmaster and prince in a small country. Shu Saura was a magician and King. Moroha now has the ability to use both Kuroma and Shirogane. Satsuki is a strange, boastful girl that Moroha meets at the Academy.
Flaga was her sister in her past life and Shizuno, who was Shu Saura’s calm, level-headed daughter. He joins the Striker Unit at Akane Academy, an elite team of Saviors, because of his special abilities. Moroha’s plans to have a peaceful school year are ruined when Satsuki, Shizuno and other students start to notice him. The situation only gets worse when Metaphysicals begin to appear.

World Break Season 2 Renewal Update
World Break: Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman was aired for twelve episodes. It won a million hearts in its debut. Fans were eager to see more of the story. The demand for Seiken Tsukai No World Break Season 2 grew quickly after the show ended. Studio Diomedia has not announced the renewal for five years.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the anime will ever return. Rarely do anime adaptations get another chance on the screens.
The core purpose of this adaptation is to promote the source material. They will likely die if there isn’t enough content to promote. If they continue to use advertising techniques, World Break: Aria Of Curse For A Holy Swordsman may fail.
